The absence of a mask will be fined
Citizens in public places without a mask covering their mouth and nose will be fined up to 255 hryvnia.
The Verkhovna Rada on Friday, November 6, approved as a basis and as a whole the bill no. 3891 on fines for the lack of masks in public places.
262 People’s Deputies voted “in favor” of the corresponding bill.
The law establishes fines for staying in public buildings, structures, public transportation during quarantine without wearing personal protective equipment, including respirators or protective masks that cover the nose and mouth, including those made by ourselves.
The size of the fine will be from ten to fifteen minimum non-taxable income of citizens (170-255 hryvnia).
The details of this law the day before were recounted by the head of the Ministry of Health, Maxim Stepanov.
Previously, the deputies approved in the first reading a bill that provides fines for business owners for the lack of masks on customers.
