The Health Ministry is considering introducing additional quarantine measures for a specified period, the prime minister said.
The Cabinet is not yet considering introducing a full quarantine. This was stated by Prime Minister Denis Shmygal during an hour of questioning the government in Verkhovna Rada on Friday, November 6.
“I want to emphasize again. The government is not currently considering introducing a total quarantine. In fact, the Ministry of Health is considering introducing additional restrictions for a specified period to break the chain of diseases. It will not be a complete and permanent ban. For example , we are talking about increasing responsibility for not wearing masks. ” , – Shmygal said.
Remember that Ukraine has a record number of deaths from COVID. More than 200 Ukrainians have died from the coronavirus in one day, more than ever. At the same time, the increase in the number of cases decreased slightly.
At the same time, Stepanov said about the denials of hospitalization, that “a hospital is not a sanatorium.” Hospitalization must be carried out according to clear indicators and under the direction of a doctor, the minister said.
