US TV channels cut Trump’s speech for “lies”

“We are interrupting (the broadcast) because what the president of the United States is saying is mostly a complete lie,” CNBC host Shepard Smith said after interrupting Trump’s speech.

An MSNBC reporter reported that Twitter also disrupted the live broadcast of the president’s statement on its app.

Trump spoke at the White House on Thursday (Friday night in Kiev) after almost a day and a half of absence from public.
