The head of the President’s Office Andriy Yermak said that Ukraine plans to create a free economic zone not only in Donbass, but also in one of the western regions.

«We plan to create not only a free economic zone in Donbass, but also another free economic zone in western Ukraine. Today, these two areas, two economic opportunities must also work to unite the country, for the equal opportunities that we want to provide today, “he said.
According to Yermak, “today this issue is still being resolved, but this will be one of the western regions.”
Let’s remember that one of the president’s questions during the local elections referred to the need to create a free economic zone in Donbass.
Previously, the Office of the President said that the free economic zone provides “the most loyal approach to taxes and fundamentally comfortable conditions for state supervision of business activities.” The OP believes that the FEZ will help make the Ukraine-controlled Donetsk and Lugansk regions attractive for business.
