The dollar exchange rate established in the state budget for 2021 has been named

To calculate the budget indicators of the bill, the expected annual average exchange rate is taken: 29.1 hryvnia per dollar.

Ukraine’s draft state budget for 2021 assumes an increase in the dollar exchange rate next year. The budget is calculated at an annual average exchange rate of 29.1 UAH per dollar. This is indicated in the explanatory note to the bill, which is available on the Rada website.

In particular, to calculate the budget indicators of the bill, the forecasted annual average exchange rate was taken: 29.1 hryvnia per dollar, as well as the forecast rate at the end of 2021: 28.8 hryvnia per dollar.

The explanatory note indicates that this forecast represents the most likely scenario for the development of the economy in the medium term, with a restart due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Previously it was reported that the Rada approved the State Budget-2021 in first reading. In preparation for the second reading, the Cabinet of Ministers was recommended to increase spending on various programs for health, education, social protection, culture, sports, etc.
