Kiev became the leader in the number of coronavirus infections

During the last day, 983 new cases of coronavirus infection were detected in the capital, the majority in Ukraine.

During the last day, 983 new cases of coronavirus were registered in Kiev. On November 5, the capital became the leader in new COVID-19 cases per day. Kiev Mayor Vitaly Klitschko wrote about this on his Telegram channel.

Then, he got sick: 539 women between 18 and 89 years old; 362 men from 18 to 91 years old; 41 girls from 1 month to 17 years old and 41 boys from 1 to 17 years old. In particular, 27 doctors fell ill.

99 patients were hospitalized in the capital’s hospitals during the last day. Others are in self-isolation, under the supervision of doctors.

Most of the new cases of the disease during the last day were found in the Solomensky district – 154, in Desnyansky – 144 and 127 cases – in the Darnitsky district.

11 people died of complications from the coronavirus in the capital each day. In total, the coronavirus claimed the lives of 827 Kiev residents. Another 348 people recovered in Kiev. In total, 13,769 Kyiv residents have overcome the coronavirus.

We will remember, on the eve that the world registered an anti-record of mortality: 9,067 people.
