The Ministry of Health recommends that institutions make time to care for the elderly
The new regulations will limit gym and swimming pool activities, as well as the operation of shopping centers.
The Ministry of Health proposes to the Cabinet of Ministers to strengthen the quarantine in Ukraine. This was announced in a briefing on Thursday, November 5, by Chief Medical Officer Viktor Lyashko.
According to him, the Ministry of Health wants only stores in shopping centers to operate, so that people can buy things for themselves and this does not affect the country’s economy.
In addition, the government will be asked to ban all mass cultural events, to limit gym and swimming pool activities.
“Prohibit the activities of commercial entities that do not comply with the anti-epidemiological standards, which are prescribed in the decree. This will allow the regulatory authorities to apply administrative measures and sanction those who violate the rules, and those who adhere to work, “Lyashko said.
The Ministry of Health recommends that institutions establish a schedule to serve the elderly, from 10:00 to 12:00. Lyashko clarified that this is a recommendation and does not prohibit older people from visiting institutions at other times. According to him, it is in people over 60 where the coronavirus disease is most serious.
We will remember that previously the Ministry of Health allowed to tighten the quarantine. The Health Minister allowed the introduction of a quarantined “day off” in the country, and also offers restaurants and cafes to work “to go.”
