The restrictions will now expire on December 3.

During this period, exhibitions and museums will stop operating in the country, and shopping malls will not operate on weekends and holidays. Students will be fully transferred to distance education and transportation occupancy will be limited to 50%.

Additional restrictions will be established in certain regions depending on the development of the coronavirus situation in them. So, in the high-risk areas, which now include Lombardy and Piedmont, all people who do not live in them will be banned permanently. Also, all stores will be suspended there, with the exception of grocery stores and those that sell essential items.

In the medium risk areas, which so far include Apulia, Calabria and Veneto, restrictions will be introduced to leave the cities of permanent residence, as well as all cafes and restaurants will be closed. In the “green areas” only all general restrictions will apply, including the prohibition previously imposed on the operation of restaurants and bars after 6:00 p.m., the closure of gyms and swimming pools, theaters and cinemas, as well as the mask regime .
