In Ukraine, 199 people die every day from coronavirus
During the day, the country revealed the maximum number of newly infected since the start of the pandemic, and a record number of people also died and recovered.
During the last day, 9,524 new cases of coronavirus were detected in Ukraine. Since the start of the pandemic, 420 617 people have already been infected in the country. This was announced on Wednesday, November 4, by the Minister of Health, Maxim Stepanov, on his Facebook page.
This is another anti-record for the number of new coronavirus cases. At the same time, for the first time in Ukraine, more than nine thousand infections per day were confirmed.
In addition, two more COVID-19 registrations were recorded per day: 199 died and 7,536 patients recovered. Since the start of the pandemic, 7,731 deaths from coronavirus have been registered, 176,404 patients have been recovered.
244,213 people are still active patients.
Most of the new cases of infection during the day were registered in the regions of Kiev (+856), Kharkiv (+850), Donetsk (+636), Odessa (+547) and Khmelnytsky (+511).
During the day, 72,442 tests were conducted for COVID-19. Of these, 42,278 by PCR and 30,164 by ELISA.
