At the conciliation council meeting, the possibility of returning electronic statements and a bill for the resignation of magistrates of the Constitutional Court were discussed.

The Speaker of Parliament, Dmitry Razumkov, gathered the leaders of the factions in a meeting on Monday, November 2, during which they discussed the return of electronic statements to legislation and Zelensky’s bill on the restoration of the KSU. People’s MP Yaroslav Zheleznyak announced it on his Telegram channel.

“Today at 9:30 am the president of the parliament gathered the leaders of the factions. The topic was not known beforehand (maybe we miss them). In fact: the return of electronic returns to legislation. So far, it has been proposed that the mechanism return in its original form (even without exception of the judges). Normally, the law is changed in 2 months. Registration is scheduled today if all factions agree. They want to vote on Friday, “he said, promulgating the text of the bill.

The popular deputy also pointed out that “the president’s bill on the restart was discussed.” “It does not seem that there is potential. Although the option to change the law of the quorum of the Constitutional Court was discussed,” Zheleznyak said.

He also noted that the Rada already has several other bills, which also return standards for electronic returns, “but without judges.”

We will recall that previously in the Council of Europe they opposed the dissolution of the KSU. The Venice Commission and GRECO sent a letter to Dmitry Razumkov about Zelensky’s bill on the Constitutional Court.

To this, Zelensky replied that the dissolution of the KSU is the only possible way out of the current situation.

On October 27, at the request of 48 popular deputies, the Constitutional Court declared certain provisions of the anti-corruption legislation unconstitutional. The decision of the Constitutional Court means the abolition of the electronic declaration, the abolition of the powers of the National Agency for the Prevention of Corruption for a complete control and monitoring of the way of life of officials, the decriminalization of the inaccurate declaration.

On the night of October 29-30, Zelensky presented a bill to the Verkhovna Rada, which proposed ending the powers of the Constitutional Court judges and recognizing their decision to declare “null and void.”
