Ukrzaliznytsia closes ticket sales at selected stations

Ukrzaliznytsia suspends ticket sales at various stations, in particular in Uzhgorod

JSC “Ukrzaliznytsia” temporarily stops selling tickets at twelve train stations as of November 2.

Ukrzaliznytsia temporarily stops selling tickets at certain train stations. This decision was made by the State Commission for Safety and Technogenic and Environmental Emergencies due to the increasing number of coronavirus cases. This was announced on Sunday, November 1, by the Ukrzaliznytsia press service.

So, as of 00.01 on November 2, the sale of tickets for the train stations is closed: Beregovoe, Volosyanka-Zakarpatskaya, Veliky Berezny, Kostrino, Perechin, Stavnoe, Uzhgorod, Pologi, Sarata, Kulevcha, Slavuta-1 , Shepetovka.

At these stations, trains will pass without boarding passengers. Disembarkation will take place according to the established order.

The company draws attention to the fact that, in connection with the situation, the train routes have been modified:

  • No. 17/18 Mukachevo – Kharkov – Uzhgorod (instead of Uzhgorod – Kharkov – Uzhgorod);

  • No. 29/30 Mukachevo – Kharkov – Uzhgorod (instead of Uzhgorod – Kiev – Uzhgorod);

  • No. 45/46 Batevo-Pas. – Lisichansk – Uzhgorod (instead of Uzhgorod – Lisichansk – Uzhgorod);

  • № 3/4 Mukachevo – Zaporozhye – Uzhgorod (instead of Uzhgorod – Zaporozhye – Uzhgorod);

  • No. 81/82 Chop-Pass – Kiev – Uzhgorod (instead of Uzhgorod – Kiev – Uzhgorod);

  • No. 107/108 Chop-Pas. – Odessa – Uzhgorod (instead of Uzhgorod – Odessa – Uzhgorod).

Ukrzaliznytsia does not specify how long the restrictions on ticket sales will apply.

We will recall, Ukrzaliznytsya announced that he will limit the sale of train tickets to 50%, if such recommendations are received from the Ministry of Health.
