President Volodymyr Zelenskyy called on international partners to continue to support Ukraine amid the country’s constitutional crisis. Zelensky also named those who were behind the management of the Constitutional Court.
The head of state wrote about this in the article “Ukrainian courts cannot be allowed to dismiss anti-corruption achievements” in the Financial Times.
According to Zelensky, behind the KSU’s decision are “Russian puppets and some Ukrainian oligarchs” who feel threatened by the activities of anti-corruption organizations.
“They oppose integration into the European Union and NATO, Ukraine’s cooperation with the International Monetary Fund, and a society where there are rules that benefit the 99 percent, not just the 1 percent,” he wrote.
Zelensky noted that now Ukraine is under attack not only at the borders, but also “at the center of democratic institutions”, but Ukraine will resist.
“I also call on our international partners and allies to continue to support us and demonstrate the error of those who are trying to hinder and disrupt our cooperation,” the president added.
Recall, earlier Zelensky called for the decision of the Constitutional Court on responsibility for inaccurate declaration of a conspiracy of old elites and oligarchs against the president and the country.
