On October 31, the 83rd day of protests took place in Belarus. Traditionally, women marched on weekends. In addition, people with disabilities came out to protest. In Minsk, on Independence Avenue, women and people with disabilities held a joint march, reports TUT.by.

Telegram channel administrator arrest
A 28-year-old conductor of the telegram channel for drivers was arrested in Minsk. According to the official representative of the Belarusian Interior Ministry, Olga Chemodanova, they want to recognize this resource as extremist.
What is the girl accused of?
- The militiamen affirm that the girl requested terrorism and sabotage in the messenger.
- They say the canal’s administrators raised political demands, called for a halt to production at state-owned companies, and to influence law enforcement officials and public officials.
- In addition, the administrators allegedly called for the destruction and destruction of property, the blockade and disablement of railways, and other radical actions.
Law enforcement officers claim that the detainee had already been convicted of robbery, now does not work, but is engaged in prostitution.

Belarusians will be punished for wearing national symbols
In Belarus they are working on a draft Code of Administrative Offenses. According to him, the punishment for participating in an unauthorized mass event can be toughened, as well as introduce liability for “illegal use of flags”… Among the new punishments, they want to introduce community service.
So, they want to prohibit the use of flags, posters, signs that are not registered in the established order. The authorities propose to impose a penalty: a fine of 5 to 20 basic units, the employer, 10 to 40, and a legal person, 20 to 60.
Probably, after consideration of the project, it will enter into force on January 1, 2021.
Mass arrests in Grodno
A strike by “Grodno Azot” workers started in Grodno. Also, ordinary locals came out to support them, there were about 200 of them.
More than 100 security agents came out to counter them. They began to disperse the march. At first there was information about 11 detainees, but then they were taken away in rice wagons. The exact number of those detained in Grodno is still unknown.
