On Saturday October 31, Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan sent a letter to Russian President Vladimir Putin, requesting assistance based on bilateral agreements between the countries. In particular, Pashinyan asks Putin to help “ensure security.”

It is noted that in the letter the Armenian leader presented the situation that has arisen as a result of the conflict between Azerbaijan and Armenia in Nagorno-Karabakh. He also once again accused Turkey, which is a member of NATO, of interfering in the conflict.
“Taking into account the approach of hostilities to the border of Armenia, the facts of the invasions on the territory of the Republic of Armenia, the Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia appealed to the President of the Russian Federation to hold immediate consultations to determine the type and amount of assistance that the Russian Federation can provide to the Republic of Armenia to ensure security, based on allied relations between Armenia and Russia, “the message said.
We will recall, earlier it was reported that Azerbaijan and Armenia agreed not to fire on the civilian population in Karabakh.
It should be noted that the third truce entered into force in Nagorno-Karabakh on October 26. Azerbaijan and Armenia agreed to this during negotiations in the United States.
In addition, the Turkish resident Recep Erdogan proposed to Putin to jointly resolve the conflict in Nagorno-Karabakh.
