Lukashenka really has nowhere to retreat, he was nailed to the wall. And now he can really do something terrible
Svetlana Tikhanovskaya’s ultimatum ended on October 25, so this week the strikes began in Belarus, road closures, non-payment of housing and communal services, non-payment of taxes – everything she promised if the former president of this country Alexander Lukashenko refuses to comply with the conditions of the ultimatum. In other words, resign, stop the violence and release all political prisoners. Naturally, it did not meet these conditions.
The most interesting thing happens on the railways, they are blocked in the following way: the cable is stretched and laid on parallel rails. As a result, dispatchers think that some kind of train is on the way. Due to this, the movement of the Belarusian railways is now completely paralyzed. In fact, Lukashenka is not allowed to trade, she is not allowed to export goods abroad and receive money for it.
Belarusians have embraced the financial exsanguination of the regime. And here is an important point, if by November 7 Lukashenko does not stop all protests in his country, Vladimir Putin will suspend funding, as he promised in September, and will look for another more effective leader. This one is clearly no longer capable of anything: Lukashenka is turning into an unnecessary suitcase without a handle, which is not a shame to throw away. They will throw it away.
Why on November 7? Because on November 4 the results of the presidential elections in the United States will be announced. Most likely, Joe Biden will win, who will immediately start cutting off oxygen to Moscow. The Kremlin will not need a weight on its leg in the form of a crazy and stupid Lukashenko. Funding will be cut off, especially since Russia itself has no money.
The former president has only one week to end the protests
If he runs out of money, Lukashenka will, of course, lose. He will have nothing to pay, no police, no workers, no retirees, no officials, but he himself has created a system in the country in which the state pays everyone for everything. Now the police are there for him, and many simple workers still do not go to the rally. But if they run out of money, they will go to rallies, but cops without money will no longer take risks and will not disperse demonstrations. Even they have families to feed. A regime without money cannot work, it is an axiom.
The former president has only one week left to end the protests. He understands that as of November 7 his power will begin to crumble before our eyes. To recover funds from Moscow, he is willing to take desperate measures to quell the protests. Lukashenka has a limited imagination, but has a mosaic psychopathy, so he threatened to initiate mass murder.
First, Lukashenka proposed to strengthen the role of the people’s guards. in guaranteeing security and public order in the country. He wants to create paramilitary groups that will travel around the city and, supposedly on behalf of the people, kill anti-government protesters.
“… The popular squads must work. In the end, they have to remove and protect. You don’t need a country, you and I, generals and other people, riot police, internal troops, army, we will ensure the protection of the country. That they ensure the protection of their homes, “said Lukashenko. That is, he wants to organize terror in the residential areas of the city, which now practically do not obey him. Muammar Gaddafi tried to fix something similar, it did not help. But Venezuelan Nicolás Maduro almost He succeeded, but the payment for this was the total exsanguination of the country. But Lukashenka wants «each felt that he was protecting his family and his land ”. It is clear that Lukashenka wants to distribute weapons to his followers. But there is a moment: almost the whole country is against him, so the opponents will receive a hundred percent of weapons.
Second, Lukashenka wants to use the army for mass murder.… He called terrorism as a justification for this. According to him, almost all Belarusians are terrorists, so they can die. Here’s a quote from Lukashenka: “We hang on. I immediately indicated: there are red lines. And God forbid someone to cross them. They crossed them in many directions, I told them about this. That is why those who today go out onto the railroad, those who hang their banners on the power transmission lines, in a word, those who today try to destroy and destabilize the infrastructure of the state, should know: starting today, especially in the citizens’ apartments where they hide, us. we do not take anyone prisoner.
If someone touches a soldier, they must leave at least without hands. I say this publicly so that everyone understands our greatest determination. Also, everything. We have nowhere to retire and we are not going to retire. Who is ready, we will act. “
Lukashenka really has nowhere to retreat, he was nailed to the wall. And now he can really do something terrible. I admit that you have already given the army, the militia and the squads of the people the order to use weapons against the citizens of your country. Now the question is whether they will shoot people. For one thing, they can. On the other hand, mass murder is still very strong even for a policeman. Even the police (I don’t mean the military) we didn’t go to work to hit their compatriots with a machine gun. Some of them may refuse. Or maybe shoot Lukashenka to end the bloody insanity he’s driving the country into.
This week, Lukashenka fired Belarusian Interior Minister Yuri Karaev. The new head of the Interior Ministry was Ivan Kubrakov, who had previously headed the Minsk police department. I suspect it might have something to do with these characters’ willingness or unwillingness to shoot people. It is obvious that the former president is preparing something very wrong.
Proof of this is the fact that this week Belarus closed the entry to the country at the land borders with Latvia, Lithuania, Ukraine and Poland. The Belarusian State Border Committee officially confirmed that entry to the country through ground checkpoints at the borders with four countries is closed. «due to the current epidemiological situation “
At the same time, the departure from Belarus remains free. Lukashenka wants all his opponents to just leave, but they will not leave, so the coming Sundays, November 1 and 7, promise to be very difficult and important for Belarus. Let us wish the Belarusians victory in their battle against the mad dictatorship.
