Those who do not need such assistance can apply, the Georgian prime minister said.

This decision was made to overcome the consequences of the quarantine crisis introduced due to the coronavirus epidemic, explained the Georgian prime minister.

The Georgia government will pay for gas and electricity used by local households in November-February. This was reported by the Georgian News edition with reference to the statement by Prime Minister Giorgi Gakharia.

“As of November 1, the payment of public services to our citizens begins in the winter period. It will be four months, starting in November,” he said.

According to the Georgian Prime Minister, this decision was made to overcome the consequences of the quarantine crisis introduced due to the coronavirus epidemic.

“This assistance will affect all families that consume up to 200 kWh of electricity, as well as up to 200 m3 of gas, including water and purification rates. This is the minimum with which the government can support its citizens today,” he said Gakharia.

Those who do not need such assistance can apply, the prime minister said.

We will recall that Prime Minister Denis Shmyhal said that strict quarantine will not be reintroduced in Ukraine, as there are no financial resources for this decision.
