Uncontrolled car crashes into a car
Before going to the Maidan, an uncontrollable car went through the protective hemispheres to the curb and then collided with another car.
The police patrol released another video on Friday, October 30, showing the initial moment of a large-scale traffic accident in Kiev’s Independence Square, in which two people were killed and two more injured.
The video shows how the driver, moving from the side of Mikhailovskaya Street, crossed Khreshchatyk, despite the hemispheres that should have limited his movement, drove to the sidewalk, where he rammed the parked car and, moving it a few meters, headed straight for al Maidan, where he knocked down pedestrians.
Remember that a large-scale accident occurred on the Maidan in Kiev: an SUV ran through the pedestrian zone, climbed, crashed into a crowd of pedestrians, and then rammed four cars.
It was later learned that the 66-year-old driver was arrested. He claimed that he lost consciousness while driving. The test drager found no alcohol on his body.
