“Together with Ukravtodor, the World Bank and the International Finance Corporation (IFC) presented them today (October 29th. – ed.) 310 participants from 43 countries and 38 companies of potential investors. Roads connect 10 regions of Ukraine, and more than 12 million people will definitely be able to experience improved road infrastructure, ”Krykliy added.

He stressed that we are not talking about highways, but about “Roads in installments ”, when the state attracts private investment in construction, and the investor executes the project with his own money and after the highway is commissioned receives payments from the state.

During the five years of his presidency, Vladimir Zelensky wants to repair 24 thousand km of roads, that is, all national and international. In 2020, Ukravtodor expects to receive 113 billion UAH for the repair and construction of roads. The state agency will receive more than 90 billion UAH and the rest of the funds will go to local authorities on local roads. As a result, Ukraine will receive the construction and repair of 6.7 thousand km of roads, as well as several large bridges.
