In the near future, an urgent bill on restoring the integrity of the Constitutional Court of Ukraine will be submitted to the Verkhovna Rada. The document will be a reaction to the decision of the Constitutional Court on liability for inaccurate declaration.

This statement was made by the President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky, at a meeting of the Security and National Defense Council.

As a reminder, on October 27, the Constitutional Court of Ukraine declared a criminal punishment for inaccurate declaration unconstitutional. It was later learned that the KSU blocked the activities of the National Agency for the Prevention of Corruption and the electronic declaration system.

Today, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy promised that the electronic filing system will continue to function, despite the CCU’s decision.

In addition, Justice Minister Denis Malyuska told how they plan to resume the work of the NAPK and the electronic declaration system in a few months.
