Initiatives to restrict the work of journalists in the Rada periodically arise from the deputies and the Secretariat of the Verkhovna Rada
Representatives of all previously accredited media may continue, if necessary, to attend meetings of BP and its committees.
The decision of the Verkhovna Rada Committee on Freedom of Expression to cancel the parliamentary accreditation of 22 media outlets was canceled. This was announced on Thursday, October 29 by the RBC-Ukraine news agency with reference to the head of the Verkhovna Rada press service Irina Karmelyuk.
“Dear fellow journalists! The preliminary decision to terminate the accreditation has been canceled. Sorry for that decision!” He said.
This was done at the suggestion of the BP press service. As Karmelyuk explained, these posts did not cover the Rada’s work in their posts.
