The French government is reintroducing a self-isolation regime throughout the country. It will go into effect on Friday, October 30.
This was stated by French President Emmanuel Macron, reports Le Figaro.
“I decided that from Friday the self-isolation regime that previously helped contain the virus will be restored,” Macron said.
At the same time, all catering establishments, as well as a number of commercial companies in France, are closed.
“Commercial businesses that do not fall into the basic needs category, as decided in the spring, places where a large number of people gather – bars, restaurants – will be closed,” he said.
Furthermore, dKindergartens, schools, universities, and children’s high schools will remain open with strengthened health protocols.
According to him, the restriction will be in effect at least until December 1.
