Zelensky noted that the procedure for the formation and liquidation of courts is clearly regulated at the legislative level.
“According to the second part of article 125 of the Constitution of Ukraine, the court is formed, reorganized and liquidated by law, the draft of which is submitted to the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine by the President of Ukraine after consultations with the Higher Council of Justice, “the statement said.
At the same time, it is noted that the Superior Council of Justice is an important state element and has every opportunity to formulate its position on the situation with the UASC.
“The president proposes to initiate the necessary consultations with the Higher Council of Justice to develop a transparent and correct procedure to resolve the matter of the District Administrative Court of the city of Kiev,” the statement said. It is also noted that this will help “alleviate some tension in society regarding this situation.”
