The Belarusian State Medical University began expelling students because of their participation in the protests. 12 people have already been expelled.

It is reported by Nasha Niva.

Please note that the administration of the Belarusian State Medical University continues to threaten students with expulsion for participating in the national strike.

Three students were also expelled from the Belarusian State Academy of Arts. Two others were officially reprimanded.

Recall that yesterday the President of Belarus, Alexander Lukashenko, called for the expulsion of the students participating in the protests. Says they can be sent to the army.

“If you come to study, to study, whoever wants, let him study. Whoever has carried out unauthorized actions in violation of the law, is deprived of the right to be a student,” he said yesterday.

It should be noted that Belarusian opposition leader Svetlana Tikhanovskaya said that the deadline for the people’s ultimatum, which she announced to Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko, has expired.

Tikhanovskaya presented the following demands: Lukashenka must announce his resignation, violence in the streets must stop completely, all political prisoners must be released.
