The Severodonetsk Azot Association resumes the production of medicinal oxygen. This was announced on Tuesday, October 27 by Dmitry Firtash’s DF Group, which includes the company.

With the resumption of Nitrogen production, the region will have the necessary amount of oxygen cylinders for the treatment of seriously ill patients with COVID-19, said the DF Group.

The company has submitted to the Ministry of Health a package of documents necessary to resume the production of medicinal oxygen.

Nitrogen has already received a license for the production and sale of medical oxygen from the State Medicines Control Agency.

Medical oxygen will be used to prepare special enriched respiratory mixtures for the treatment of diseases associated with respiratory disorders.

In addition, the medical oxygen from the cylinders is filled with so-called. “oxygen bags” for individual use.

The main consumers of medical oxygen are hospitals, clinics, sanatoriums and other medical institutions.

Earlier, Kiev Mayor Vitaliy Klitschko said that the city is working independently to improve the oxygen supply system for beds allocated for the treatment of COVID-19 patients. Since the beginning of the year, 14 million UAH has been spent on this.
