More than half a thousand new coronavirus patients in Kiev
The total number of COVID-19 cases in the capital is close to 35,000. At the same time, the disease has claimed the lives of more than 700 people in Kiev.
During the past day, another 525 cases of coronavirus were detected in Kiev. This was reported by the mayor of the capital, Vitali Klitschko, on Tuesday, October 27.
At the same time, seven kievites died (706 in total) and 176 recovered (11,925 in total). The total number of COVID-19 cases detected in Kiev has reached 34,887.
The day before, 301 women between 19 and 88 years old, 190 men between 19 and 83 years old, 14 girls between 7 months and 17 years old, and 20 boys between 2 and 17 years old were sickened. 17 doctors also fell ill.
At the same time, 88 patients were hospitalized, the rest in self-isolation, under the supervision of doctors.
Most cases of the disease were detected in the Desnyanskiy district – 104, in Dniprovskiy – 92 and 91 cases in the Obolonskiy district.
Recall that in Ukraine 126 deaths from COVID-19 per day. The number of victims of the epidemic in the country is approaching 6600. At the same time, there are more than 200 thousand active cases of coronavirus in Ukraine.
