According to the head of the Servant of the People party, People’s Deputy Oleksandr Kornienko, the final cost of the Ukraine poll, which was initiated by Ukraine’s President Volodymyr Zelensky, has not yet been calculated, but we are talking about a figure of about 30 million UAH.
The final budget of the Ukraine survey, initiated by the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky, amounted to about 30 million UAH. The head of the Servants of the People party, People’s Deputy Oleksandr Kornienko said this on the air of the ICTV channel.
Olga Aivazovskaya, coordinator of the Opora civic network, said that the civic network calculated the budget for the survey based on the amount that volunteers were paid for their work – UAH. And if we are talking about the actual number of volunteers who stood near the plots, they probably expected there to be more, – overall, about 55% of the plots in the country were covered with a 4% error. As a result, the final budget had to be up to UAH 30 million. ”
Kornienko said the contractor has not yet received the final budget proposal.
“But this figure is much closer to reality than the 100 million UAH, which was talked about a lot this week. […] About 30 million UAH, “Kornienko replied.
On local election day on October 25, Ukrainians were asked to answer “five important questions” from Zelensky:
- Is it necessary to introduce life imprisonment for corruption on an especially large scale?
- Do you support the creation of a free economic zone in Donbas?
- Should the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine be reduced to 300 people’s deputies?
- Do you support the legalization of medical cannabis to relieve pain in critically ill patients?
- Should Ukraine raise the question of the application of the security guarantees defined by the Budapest Memorandum at the international level?
The study was funded by the Servant of the People party, organize and conduct a survey the company “Ze Media”. The president’s office stressed that the survey results would have no legal consequences.
On 25 October it emerged that, among other things, underage volunteers took part in the study (Ombudsman Lyudmila Denisova said this was legitimate if the children’s parents gave their consent). Activist Sergei Sternenko said he was able to vote in the poll five times.
On October 26, the party presented the results of the poll after analyzing 74% of the questionnaires. The question of reducing the number of popular deputies to 300 received the highest support from respondents: “in favor” – 89.6%, “against” – 7.12%.
