The counterintelligence service of the SBU detained a separatist of the so-called “LPR” in the Novoaydarsky district of the Lugansk region. This was reported by the SBU press service on Monday, October 26.
The attacker was on the state’s wanted list on suspicion of involvement in a terrorist organization. He was detained directly at the contact line near the town of Trekhizbenka.
According to the SBU, the native of the Svatovskiy region joined the separatist groups at the end of 2014. As part of the so-called “4th Separate Brigade 2 of the AK NS LPR”, since 2015, he participated in hostilities against ATO forces / JFO.
The detainee has now been informed of the suspected formation of a terrorist group or terrorist organization. A preventive measure in the form of arrest was chosen for the detainee.
Let us remind you that previously the court had rendered a verdict on the intelligence officer of the separatists “LPR”. The attacker put up armed resistance to ATO / OOS forces near the line of contact; participated in the battles near Zolote.
It was also reported that a former separatist “LPR” was arrested in Severodonetsk. The man joined the separatists in April 2014. He was involved in the raid on the SBU headquarters in the Lugansk region.
