In the by-elections to the Verkhovna Rada in the 208th district of the Chernihiv region, after counting 24.62% of the votes, the head of the Radical Party, Oleg Lyashko, is in the lead. This is demonstrated by the data on the website of the Central Electoral Commission (CEC).
According to these data, 33.03% of voters voted for Lyashko. For his main competitor, Anatoly Gunko from “Servant of the People” – 32.38%.

The candidate Servant of the People believes that his rival Lyashko is showing “hysteria” in front of the cameras of the central television channels.
Lyashko said on Facebook on October 26 that he does not acknowledge Gunko’s victory.
“We won the elections in district 208, but we lost because of bribery and corruption by the authorities. According to the CCA, an abnormally high turnout of 50% in this district was one and a half times higher than the average turnout in the country. This is evidence that a large-scale voter bribery network has worked in the district. … Government candidate Gunko bought 50% of the constituency’s voters and, with the help of corruption, bought the mandate of the people’s deputy.
