Ivano-Frankivsk elections: who wins – exit poll

Mayor of Ivano-Frankivsk Based on the results of the first round of the 2020 local elections, the current mayor may become Ruslan Marcinkiv (“Freedom”).

According to the results of the exit poll of Oleg Golovensky’s sociological group and the local publication “Firtka”, the politician received 86.1% votes.

A poll of voters showed the following voting results:

  • Ruslan Marcinkiv (“Freedom”) – 86.1%;

  • Petr Shkutyak (European Solidarity): 6.9%;

  • Natalya Serbin (“Galician Party of Ukraine”): 3.9%;

  • Alexander Bogachev (“Servant of the people”) – 2.4%;

  • Vasily Stefanishin (“Community Platform”) – 0.6%.

On his Facebook page, the incumbent mayor thanked each resident for their election. He also shared the results of a survey from the Center for the Development of Initiatives:

It should be noted that in the recent elections in Belarus, Alexander Lukashenko, as officially stated, also received more than 80% of the votes (the CEC states that 83.49%). However, these voting results were not recognized in the EU and other countries.

TO Ivano-Frankivsk City HallAccording to Firtki’s exit poll, there are two parties: Svoboda and UE. Batkivshchyna also happened to be close to the barrier of passage.

The results of the survey are as follows:

  • “Freedom” – 66.29%;

  • “European solidarity”: 16.76%;

  • “Homeland” – 4.76%;

  • “Servant of the people” – 3.81%;

  • “The Voice” – 2.29%;

  • “For the future”: 1.9%;

  • “Hit” – 1.33%;

  • “Galician Party of Ukraine” – 1.33%;

  • “Company Platform” – 0.95%;

  • “People’s Movement of Ukraine” – 0.19%.
