The “Party of Hungarians of Ukraine” (KMKS), for which the Hungarian Minister of Foreign Economy and Foreign Affairs, Peter Siyarto, campaigned on the day of local elections, will address the Uzhgorod city hall. The highest number of votes was obtained by the Servant of the People party.
This is confirmed by the results of the exit poll “Savik Shuster Studio” carried out with the tools of the sociological company Liberty Report.
So, according to the exit survey, the following people enter the Uzhgorod City Hall:
- “Servant of the people” – 18.91%
- OV “Batkivshchyna” – 12.21%
- “Native transcarpathia”: 8.87%
- “European solidarity” – 7.17%
- “Opposition platform – For life” – 5.88%
- KMKS – “Party of Hungarians of Ukraine” – 5.35%
- “For the future” – 5.21%
The rest of the political forces, including the “Team” of the former head of the Transcarpathian Regional State Administration Andriy Baloga, did not exceed the 5% barrier.
The exit poll error does not exceed 1.9%.

It should be noted that today the chief diplomat of Hungary, Peter Siyarto, urged the inhabitants of Transcarpathia to vote for the Party of Hungarians of Ukraine, as, in his opinion, “it would be bad if the Hungarians were left without representation” in this region.
In turn, the Kiev official took this as an attempt to interfere in local elections and promised Budapest a tough response.
