Local Elections: CEC calls participation in local elections at 1:00 p.m.

The Central Electoral Commission has revealed its participation in local elections starting at 1:00 p.m. The national average participation is 17.3%, in Kiev, 16.2%.

This was reported by the press service of the CEC.

Thus, the participation by region is:

  • Vinnytsia region – 17.2%;
  • Volyn region – 17%;
  • Donetsk region – 22.1%;
  • Zhytomyr region – 18.3%;
  • Transcarpathic region: 15.3%;
  • Ivano-Frankivsk region – 14%;
  • Kirovograd region – 18.6%;
  • Nikolaev region – 15.5%;
  • Poltava region – 16.6%;
  • Sumy region – 15.7%;
  • Ternopil region – 17%;
  • Kharkov region – 15.5%;
  • Cherkasy region – 17%;
  • Chernivtsi region – 14%;
  • Chernihiv region – 20.1%;
  • Lugansk region – 18%;
  • Odessa region (excluding Odessa): 26%;
  • Ternopil region – 17%;
  • Kherson region: 16.7%;
  • Kiev region – 15.6%;
  • Kiev – 16.2%.

The Central Electoral Commission indicated that the data are preliminary.

Earlier, RBC-Ukraine wrote that according to OPORA observers, at 12:00, the electoral turnout was 13.5%. The research error does not exceed 1.2%.

It was also reported that turnout in current local elections in Ukraine could be less than 50% of voters.
