Residents of Sosnovka village in the Sumy region will vote for a fake site instead of the real one, so the latter has a very low turnout, said Olga Aivazovskaya, head of the board of the Opora civil network.
In Sosnovka village, Sumy region, observers and law enforcement officers found an illegal polling station. Olga Aivazovskaya, head of the board of directors of the civic network Opora, announced this on Facebook.
This village is part of the Popovskaya United Territorial Community. The illegal plot organizes votes for the town council, whose community refuses to be part of the UTO.
There is a fake site with the same number as the real one: 590211. The newsletters were printed there independently. According to Aivazovskaya, the police are below the “compound” and question people at the exit. Additionally, law enforcement officers have already received permission from the prosecutor’s office to enter a private building and conduct a search.
“Music plays near the fake site and people are invited to vote, they go to the self-proclaimed site instead of the real one, but currently there is a very low turnout, because it is in the back of town and nothing happens nearby, the people do not know what is really needed there to go “, – said the head of the board of directors of the network” Opora “.
Aivazovskaya added that such actions violate art. 110 (usurpation of the territorial integrity and inviolability of Ukraine) and art. 353 (unauthorized appropriation of powers or rank of official) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
At 1:00 p.m., the National Police of Ukraine registered 1,623 requests with complaints about violations of electoral law.
