The fight between Lomachenko and López lasted all 12 rounds. By unanimous decision of the judges, López won: 116: 112, 119: 109, 117: 111. Now López is the owner of the WBA, WBO, WBC and IBF championship belts (the first three belts belonged to Lomachenko) .
Lomachenko refused to admit defeat to Lopez on points.
This is the second defeat in the Ukrainian’s career: in March 2014, he lost to Mexican Orlando Salido, also by decision of the judges.
