The poll of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky will be conducted by a private polling company.

A source from the Servant of the People party told Interfax-Ukraine that the company, in accordance with civil law contracts, is hiring interviewers who will interview citizens.

“On Election Day, the overwhelming majority of large sociological companies will participate in conducting the exit polls, so the Servant of the People party turned to this private company. In addition, the search for a contractor to such a large project was limited in time, “explained the source.

Party funds allocated for the survey will be spent on printing questionnaires, making boxes and clothing for the interviewers, and paying for their work.

The organizers will try to cover the maximum number of polling stations. In Kiev, two interviewers per site will participate, in other settlements – one person.

The interviewers will be located outside the polling stations. The survey will be carried out when leaving the site. Each interviewer will be dressed in special clothing and will not be marked with political symbols. They will have cardboard boxes sealed with them, where voters will place their completed ballots with their answers to the questions.

In relation to the coronavirus epidemic, interviewers will work in personal protective equipment and in compliance with the necessary precautions.

After the polls close, each interviewer must deliver a sealed box of ballots to the counting center in their region. Once the box reaches the counting center, an appropriate protocol will be drawn up. The members of the scrutiny commission will open the box and count the votes.

“Several million questionnaires have been printed for a national poll. Given that low voter turnout is expected given the COVID-19 epidemic, not all of them are usable,” the source said.
