Czech Health Minister Roman Primula was captured in a restaurant without a mask on October 21, while a strict quarantine was introduced in the country and such establishments should be closed.

According to iDnes, Prime Minister Andrei Babish demanded the resignation of the head of the Ministry of Health (to see the photo, scroll the page to the end).

In addition to Primula, the restaurant also noticed the head of ANO’s main party faction, Jaroslav Fltinek. Babis urged him to step down as vice president of the political force.

“I do not care what the minister and Faltinek did there. We cannot preach water and drink wine. I think the minister should just set the example,” said the head of government.

Babis asked the minister to resign himself, otherwise he threatened to fire him.

During a press conference, Primula claimed that she did not violate anything. “I went through the restaurant to the private premises of the Visegrad Chapter. There was a meeting. In this sense, nothing was altered, this is not a restaurant,” he explained.

According to the minister, he discussed with colleagues measures to combat the coronavirus.

However, Faltinek’s explanation is somewhat different. He apologized for “undermining the minister’s confidence, asked to meet in a closed pub.”

As Blesk clarifies, Roman Primula entered Rio at around 10pm, left shortly before midnight and got into the car.

In the Czech Republic, on October 21, an enhanced quarantine was introduced. The authorities have restricted movement and closed stores that do not sell essential items. Also in the country it is mandatory to wear a mask indoors. At the same time, schools, restaurants and bars have been closed since October 12.

As OBOZREVATEL reported, Ukraine’s President Volodymyr Zelenskyy on June 3, during a visit to Khmelnitsky, visited a local cafe, despite quarantine restrictions. Next to him, at the same table in the room were at least five other people.

Later, Zelensky agreed to pay a fine for violating quarantine rules at a cafe in Khmelnitsky, where he was drinking coffee surrounded by officials.

At the same time, the chief medical officer, Viktor Lyashko, said that President Zelensky’s visit to the cafe in Khmelnytsky was not a quarantine violation.
