Polish Dynamo defender Tomasz Kendzera commented on the extension of his contract with the club until 2024:
– Of course, I am very happy to continue being a Dynamo player for the next few years. I’m glad that everything went the way I and the club wanted. We quickly agreed to everything and immediately signed an agreement.
– You already know our language perfectly, but has Kiev become your mother tongue during the time you are at Dynamo?
– I have lived here for more than three years and I feel very good. Kiev is my second home after Poland. I always say only the best words about the city, and about the people, and about the fans, and about the Dynamo club. I am very happy here.
– By signing a new contract, will you enter the field with even more inspiration and good humor?
– We have a very busy period now, we play many games. But even before the season started, we were preparing for such a difficult schedule, even due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The number of games will be even higher: until December we will play two games a week, every three days. But we are prepared for this and we will try to show it in the field.
– Your contract is for four years, what goals do you personally propose and what would you like to achieve together with the team?
– The most important thing is to win the Ukrainian league, the Cup, the Subercup and have a good performance in the Champions League. The Dynamo must always be the first, this is a great club and the main thing for us is to win all the following games. And as for me personally, the most important thing is that my health does not fail, and there are no injuries.
– Does the fact that the fans have returned to the stands in the European competition play an important role?
– Yes, it was great during the game against Juventus. We feel your support and this is important for all the players who play on the field. The atmosphere with the spectators is completely different during matches.
