Relatively warm November awaits Ukrainians

The average monthly temperature in November is expected to be 1 to 8 degrees Celsius (0-3 degrees Celsius in the mountains). In the western regions these are long-term average values, in the rest of the territory, 1-1.5 degrees higher than the long-term average values. This was reported on the website of the Ukrhydrometeorological Center.
According to forecasters, monthly precipitation in the eastern and Sumy regions is expected to be less than the norm: 28-32 mm, in the rest of the territory within the long-term average values: 37-65 mm, in the mountains up to 110 mm.

Based on observations, the average monthly air temperature in November is 0 to 7 degrees Celsius. The absolute maximum air temperature is 16-24 degrees Celsius, in Chernivtsi, the central and southern regions, and in the Crimea – in some places 25-29 degrees.
The absolute minimum is 15-24 degrees of frost, in the northern, eastern, Dnepropetrovsk and Zaporozhye regions, in places 25-31, in the southern Crimea and the Odessa region – 8-13 degrees of frost.
Average monthly rainfall is 30-61 mm, in the Carpathians and Transcarpathia up to 62-142 mm.
Recall that in 2020, the meteorological autumn in Kiev was the last in history. It arrived in the Ukrainian capital on October 15, when the daily average air temperature dropped below 15 degrees Celsius, to 12.3 degrees. Before that, the last autumn arrived in Kiev on October 7, 1999.
