In Ukraine, they decided to expand the “red” quarantine zone to 11 regional centers. The decision was made by the State Commission for Safety and Technogenic and Environmental Emergencies.

Health Minister Maxim Stepanov announced this at a briefing.

In particular, Rovno, Severodonetsk and Nikolaev entered the “red zone”.

Since last week, this zone includes Ivano-Frankivsk, Poltava, Sumy, Ternopil, Kharkov, Khmelnitsky, Chernivtsi and Chernigov.

Kiev is still in the “orange” quarantine zone.

Earlier, RBC-Ukraine wrote that in Kiev there is a very tense situation with the provision of beds. If the situation worsens, the capital can fully enter the “red” quarantine zone.

Recall that in Ukraine, for the second day in a row, there is an increase in new cases of coronavirus, during the last day, 7,517 people were infected.

Note that Health Minister Maxim Stepanov said that now strict quarantine is impossible in Ukraine.
