Regime restrictions were introduced in the Lugansk region

The restrictions entered will be valid until the new year.

The reason for the measures introduced is not indicated in the official communication of the Ministry of the Interior.

Border control has been strengthened in the Lugansk region until December 31. The corresponding decision was made by the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine, according to the statement from the Interior Ministry.

The measures taken cover the Stanichno-Lugansky, Belovodsky, Melovskoy, Markovsky, Novopskovsky, Belokurakinsky, Troitsky and Starobelsky districts.

Here it is forbidden to stay in the border strip less than 200 m, with the exception of the agrarians who have coordinated their work with the border guards and the residents of several nearby towns.

In addition, restrictions were introduced near the town of Melovoe. Here it is forbidden to approach the barrier fence on the state border within five meters along the streets of Friendship of Nations, Melovskaya, Zheleznodorozhna, Rabochaya, Oboronnaya.

The movement of cars along Druzhby Narodov street between the Melovoe checkpoints is prohibited, except those of registered residents on this and adjacent streets. Foreigners are also prohibited from being on Druzhby Narodov Street.

Ukrainians can walk the streets of Friendship of Peoples, Melovskaya, Zheleznodorozhna, Rabochaya, Oboronnaya only if they have identity documents. For violation of the restrictions, a fine is provided.

We will recall, previously, the SBU held in the Lugansk region special and tactical exercises to prevent sabotage and terrorist attacks on critical infrastructure in the region.
