The European Union has updated the list of countries for which it is recommended to lift travel restrictions. Ukraine again found itself overboard and was not included on the list.
The EU developed its recommendations taking into account the epidemiological situation of the countries. This is stated in a statement on the Council of Europe website.

At the same time, the EU has again reduced the list of countries whose citizens will be able to travel freely in Europe. Consequently, the ban on free travel in Europe applies to citizens of Canada, Georgia, Tunisia and Singapore.
Instead, the EU recommended lifting travel restrictions:
- Australia,
- New Zealand,
- Rwanda,
- Singapore,
- Thailand
- Uruguay,
- South Korea,
- Japan,
- China (subject to confirmation of reciprocity).
Note that the last time the EU updated the list of countries was in early August.
