However, it will definitely be chosen by those who want to show the whole world that they have a new iPhone, no one canceled the color differentiation.
It was interesting to see (PRODUCT) RED live. It turned out that in terms of color scheme it is closer to the coral iPhone XR, the back is closer to pink than red.
As a result, of the five colors I liked the most white and calm green, which is more correct to call “mint”. I would have bought a blank phone myself, but for the test I chose (PRODUCT) RED.

Only the lazy didn’t criticize the iPhone XR and iPhone 11 for the wide-bezel display; at the same time, phones were scolded on the Internet by insufficiently high resolution screens. That’s it, the era is over – now the bezels are thinner and the image is clearer, and even instead of IPS OLED has appeared. Right, now a new wave of abuse has begun: why is there neither 90 nor 120 Hz, yikes, Apple? What can I say, gadget lovers will always find something to get to the bottom of it, and a common buyer votes with their wallet and picks up a new iPhone.
I will also notice the transition to a flat screen. Now it will be easier to stick the protective glass to the screen to protect it from minor scratches. It’s great that the screen is still large, it has a diagonal of 6.1 inches, but at the same time the physical size of the phone has decreased, it is noticeably more compact than the previous XR and 11.
5G is not for us
In introducing the phones, Apple paid close attention to promising networks. In Russia, it is still impossible to appreciate the delights of 5G – the networks have vague prospects, this feature is not for us yet. However, this is not the first time such a story, just remember the iPhone 5 with 4G support and the situation where the LTE connection on these smartphones was blocked in Russia.
The main thing is that you can still use the eSIM in conjunction with a physical SIM card. Well, from China and Hong Kong, you can bring devices with two physical SIM cards, if you need to work.
MagSafe is greatness
Along with the new iPhones, we saw the once familiar MacBook, but completely redesigned the MagSafe system to work with accessories. So far I don’t have a new charger and cases, I won’t be able to describe the impressions, but I can’t wait to test.
This is a new step in the development of accessories, magnetic charging with NFC support opens up avenues for manufacturers of cases, mounts, external batteries and other gadgets necessary for life. Thanks to him, they got fast wireless charging: 15 W vs. 7.5 W; this is not a feast for an apple fanatic.
Improved camera
So far I’ve only managed to get the SIM card into the phone and send it out for charging, so the prints are still very sketchy. I don’t have the iPhone 11 to compare, but I do have the 11 Pro and the XR. I think I’ll be about a few days and put together an archive of photos taken with XR and 12 to evaluate the difference between generations.

In terms of battery life, the iPhone XR has been and remains my favorite in the universe of Apple smartphones. In my opinion, it works longer, including the 11 and 11 Pro, and how the iPhone 12 will work, I will find out while using the phone.

Why not Pro?
Because there aren’t many differences between the iPhone 12 and iPhone 12 Pro. They are the same size, with identical displays, only the Pro has more headroom in terms of brightness and an additional telephoto lens with 2x optical zoom and LiDAR for portraits. nocturnal. In favor of the Pro version, the base memory volume increased to 128 GB compared to the 64 GB that speaks, it also has more RAM and, according to tradition, the case is made of steel, not aluminum. But the iPhone 12 costs $ 200 less and you wonder if it’s worth paying more.

After a couple of hours with the new iPhone 12, I can say that it feels like a new device, that’s the most important thing. If there was no difference in appearance between the iPhone XR and the iPhone 11, only the case colors differed, but now the iPhone 12 has a different level of emotion. And if before buying a simpler iPhone you had to make concessions, sacrificing the screen and the size of the case, now this difference is gone.
