During the last day, 631 new cases of COVID-19 coronavirus were confirmed in Kiev. This is a new anti-registration. 15 people have died, the capital’s mayor, Vitali Klitschko, said on Thursday, October 22.

The mayor described the dynamics of incidence in the capital as disappointing. According to him, there are 341 women among the new patients aged 18 to 85 and 25 girls aged five to 17. And also 253 men from 18 to 84 years and 12 children from 11 months to 16 years. 23 doctors also fell ill. 46 patients were admitted to hospitals.

Most of the cases of the disease during the last day were found in the Desnyanskiy district – 96, in the Solomenskiy district – 95 and in the Obolonskiy district – 94 cases.

In total, since the start of the pandemic, there are already 32,500 confirmed cases of COVID-19 in the capital of Ukraine. The coronavirus claimed the lives of 642 Kiev residents. 11 304 residents of the capital overcame the disease, 189 of them in the last 24 hours.

Recall that in the last 24 hours in Ukraine, the daily increase in coronavirus infection exceeded the 7,000 mark for the first time. 113 patients died the day before.
