Infectionist Olga Golubovskaya spoke about the three phases of the development of the coronavirus. About 80% of patients recover in the first stage of the disease.

She said this at a briefing.

She says this virus cannot be compared to the flu.

“This disease has nothing to do with influenza. Neither in terms of the burden on the health system, nor in the consequences for the patient. Coronavirus infection is a long-term disease,” he said.

Golubovskaya spoke about three stages in the development of COVID-19:

Level 1 – this is the first week of the disease, when patients feel basically practically healthy. In 80% of people, the disease ends at this stage. Patients should consult a doctor, drink vitamins. The infectious disease specialist urged not taking antibacterial and hormonal drugs.

Stage 2 – in this phase, from 10 to 30% of cases. This is the defeat of organs and body systems. All treatment is aimed at containing the “storm” of the immune system. This phase lasts up to three weeks. All treatment methods apply.

Stage 3 – “postcoid syndrome”. Patients must be monitored. A person can be on sick leave for up to a month after recovery.

We recall, Ukraine will receive a coronavirus vaccine of its own production in one year.

The Ministry of Health does not intend to buy the Russian vaccine against the coronavirus.
