On Wednesday morning, October 21, the defense army of the unrecognized Nagorno-Karabakh announced the downed plane of the Azerbaijan Air Force in the south of the region. This was announced on the social network by the press secretary of the Ministry of Defense of Armenia, Shushana Stepanyan.
“The air defense units of the Artsakh Defense Army shot down an enemy plane around 08:30 in a southbound direction,” the message reads.

In turn, the Ministry of Defense of Azerbaijan announces the seizure of the positions of the Armenian armed forces by its forces and the destruction of the Armenian officers. This was reported on the department’s website.
“The regiment’s artillery chief, the artillery division commander and the 4th battalion commander, along with the personnel were destroyed … Among those destroyed is also the deputy commander of the regiment Vahan Sargsyan,” the message says.
It should be recalled that the conflict in Nagorno-Karabakh erupted with renewed vigor on 27 September.
Earlier, “Strana” wrote that Azerbaijan had established control over 13 more villages in Nagorno-Karabakh.
