Two new anti-registrations. More than 6,700 cases of COVID-19 infection were detected in Ukraine per day, 141 people died

During the last day, coronavirus was found in Ukraine in 6,719 people, 141 deaths were recorded and 2,686 patients recovered.

This is evidenced in the NSDC data as of Wednesday morning, October 21.

In Ukraine, a new anti-registration was registered for the number of infected per day. The previous highest value was established on October 17, then 6410 people fell ill.

In addition, for the second day in a row, they register an anti-record in the number of deaths. A day earlier, 113 COVID-19 patients died.

In total, during the entire time of the pandemic in Ukraine, 315 826 people fell ill, of which 132 219 recovered, deaths – 5927.

At the moment, cases of coronavirus disease have been detected:

  • Vinnytsia region – 8644 cases;
  • Volyn region – 11367 cases;
  • Dnipropetrovsk region – 11,705 cases;
  • Donetsk region: 7629 cases;
  • Zhytomyr region – 10 634 cases;
  • Transcarpathic region: 12,112 cases;
  • Zaporizhzhya region – 6784 cases;
  • Ivano-Frankivsk region: 17,214 cases;
  • Kirovograd region: 1697 cases;
  • Kiev: 31,869 cases;
  • Kiev region: 13,419 cases;
  • Lviv region: 25,702 cases;
  • Lugansk region: 2,686 cases;
  • Mykolaiv region – 6256 cases;
  • Odessa region – 19,957 cases;
  • Poltava region – 6880 cases;
  • Rivne region: 16,428 cases;
  • Sumy region: 9509 cases;
  • Ternopil region – 17,970 cases;
  • Kharkov region: 30,272 cases;
  • Kherson region: 2739 cases;
  • Khmelnytsky region – 11561 cases;
  • Chernivtsi region – 18,314 cases;
  • Cherkasy region: 7314 cases;
  • Chernihiv region – 7164 cases.

The government has extended the quarantine until December 31. The approach to soften or strengthen quarantine remained adaptive, but the principle of region allocation was changed to strengthen quarantine measures.

The country was divided into four zones according to the level of danger of the spread of the coronavirus. Each of them has a certain number of restrictions.

The new quarantine rules went into effect on August 3. The decision to divide the country into zones is reviewed every 7 days.
