The show was created with a unique approach. According to one of the developers, MD Mikhail Favorov, the drug will potentially help fight new types of mutant coronavirus infections.

As a result of the meeting, the cooperation of all the necessary departments was agreed to ensure the passage of the clinical phase of the trials, as well as the possibility of manufacturing a vaccine in case of successful completion of all stages of the study.

Earlier, Health Minister Maxim Stepanov said that after the emergence of the coronavirus vaccine in Ukraine, it will cost about $ 40 per dose. However, the final price of the COVID-19 vaccine to date has not yet been determined.

It was also reported that vaccination against the coronavirus could begin in Europe in the spring-summer of 2021. It will take about a year to significantly reduce the pandemic.

In addition, later this week, the region will send the drug Remdesivir, which is used in the treatment of the coronavirus. The Health Ministry will receive 18,000 doses of the drug this week.
