Well-known network insider Steve Hemmerstoffer McFly (aka @OnLeaks) has posted a selection of high-quality renders of the final design of the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S21 or S30 flagship smartphones, or whatever the name of the new one is. Serie. OnLeaks is well known for its models that almost always accurately reflect the look of upcoming new products.
The first difference to the Galaxy S20 predecessor, which is striking when looking at these renderings of the Galaxy S21, is a different design of the main camera: a vertical glass block in the upper left corner, which “goes” on the side edges and superiors. At the same time, you can’t help but notice that the new unit, like the current one in the Galaxy S20, protrudes slightly above the surface of the rear panel.
As you can see, the flash moves off the main camera unit, just like on the Galaxy Note10 series.
From the front, the Galaxy S21 looks exactly like the Galaxy S20: the same Infinity O display with a hole for a single front camera in the center. According to a source, the Galaxy S21 will receive a 6.2-inch flat screen with dimensions of 151.7×71.2×7.9 mm
In total, three models are expected within the future Galaxy S21 series – in addition to the base Galaxy S21, the Galaxy S21 Plus and Galaxy S21 Ultra are also expected, which will stand out with larger curved displays and a greater number of modules in the main camera, including a periscope lens.
The S21 Ultra models are credited with a screen diagonal of 6.7 to 6.9 inches. According to Android Central, the Ultra model will receive an S-Pen stylus, although the corresponding slot is not visible in OnLeaks renders.
Both Android Central and OnLeaks agree that the Galaxy S21 series will debut in January. That is, this year Samsung plans to launch the new generation of the Galaxy S two months earlier than usual (end of February). In this case, the gap between the launch of new iPhones, which are released in two stages (later this month and early next), and the new Galaxy S will be the smallest ever. Samsung is likely to carry out the launch of the next generation of the Galaxy S a couple of days before CES 2021 starts.
