The Minister for the Reintegration of the Temporarily Occupied Territories, Aleksey Reznikov, believes that Ukraine needs “new alliances” on the issue of the unemployment of part of the territories of the Donetsk and Lugansk regions. According to him, this should not be delayed.

Reznikov said this in an interview with “The Mirror of the Week”.

When asked what offers are in exchange for “Minsk not working”, he replied:

“If the Minsk agreements no longer work, then let’s sign others, for example Stockholm. Why not? Sweden will chair the OSCE from January 1. It is a matter of political will of the leaders of European countries, and not just from Europeans. “

As an example, he cited the situation in Nagorno-Karabakh, where there were also agreements that proved ineffective.

“Look at the example of Karabakh. The problem is 30 years old and today it has flared up again. This means that we must not delay, we have to find other solutions, sit together and watch. If we could cope with ourselves, we would. But, unfortunately “We cannot manage on our own, this is true. Therefore, new and strengthened alliances are needed, “Reznikov noted.

The minister also said that the full reintegration of Donbass will take at least 25 years. He added that claims about the possibility of reintegration in one or two years appear due to a misunderstanding.

We recall, the head of the President’s Office, Andriy Yermak, said that the Ukrainian side is using all possible negotiating platforms to end the war in Donbass. At the same time, Russia must fulfill its obligations.
