An unidentified man set fire to a Mercedes car, which was left on Grinchenko Street in Drohobych.

In the morning in Drohobych, an unknown person set fire to the car of a candidate for the position of president of the separate territorial community of Drohobych (OTG). This was reported by the press service of the National Police of the Lviv region on Monday, October 19.

“There was a message from a 47-year-old resident of the city of Drohobych, candidate for the position of president of Drohobych OTG, that around 9 am an unknown man set fire to his Mercedes car, which he left on Grinchenko street in Drohobych” says the message.

A task force and investigation group from the Drohobych Police Department worked at the scene. Law enforcement officers establish the circumstances, as well as the person involved in the crime.

The issue of the legal status of the incident is being resolved.

Earlier, in Nikolaev, the car of the candidate for deputy of the People’s Servant was burned. Investigators found fragments of a burning Ford Fusion car and remnants of a combustible mixture.

It was also reported that a rifle was fired at the car of a candidate for deputy of the Zaporozhye City Council.
