The Brazilian “Cruzeiro” on its official website announced the payment of a series of debt obligations, due to the fact that FIFA previously imposed a ban on the registration of new players.
In particular, the key moment in this story is the repayment of the debt with Zorya. Cruzeiro reports that he paid R $ 9,229,057.22 to the Ukrainian club and paid a fine and FIFA expenses of R $ 328,107.03.
In terms of euros, the amount that Cruzeiro transferred to Zarya is almost 1,385 million euros.
Let’s remember that a few days ago, Cruzeiro was headed by the famous 71-year-old mentor Luis Felipe Scolari, after which the Brazilian club changed its rhetoric and agreed to pay the debts, promising the coach to strengthen the squad, which was impossible due to the sanctions imposed.
The story with the transfer of Willian Gómez to Cruzeiro and the resulting debt to Zorya by the Brazilian club has been going on since 2014 and is quite confusing, to which Sport.ua previously dedicated a separate article to: “Willian’s money led to the war between Dawn and Cruzeiro. What’s going on?”
